ABOUT THE ROLE
Quanttrix Capital is looking for a Research Analyst with practical knowledge of Indian equity and derivatives markets. You will identify market opportunities, analyse data and prepare clear, evidence-based research.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conduct technical and fundamental research on Indian equities
• Analyse futures, options, open interest and option-chain data
• Identify trading and investment opportunities with defined risk parameters
• Track market trends, sectors, corporate events and economic developments
• Prepare market outlooks, stock reports and research notes
• Develop and back-test research strategies
• Monitor research recommendations and maintain performance records
• Present findings clearly through charts, data and written reports
• Maintain research documentation and follow applicable SEBI standards
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Strong understanding of Indian equity and derivatives markets
• Practical knowledge of technical analysis, price action and market structure
• Understanding of futures, options, option Greeks and risk management
• Ability to independently analyse stocks, sectors and market trends
• Ability to interpret financial statements and company fundamentals
• Proficiency in TradingView, screeners and market-analysis tools
• Strong analytical, communication and report-writing skills
• Disciplined and compliance-focused approach
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• NISM Series XV – Research Analyst certification
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce or a related field
• Previous experience with a research firm, brokerage or advisory business (is a plus)
• Knowledge of Excel, back-testing tools or data-analysis software
• Published research reports or market-analysis samples
