We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the migration and modernization of legacy GIS environments into the Esri Utility Network. If you specialize in hands-on data modeling, remediation, and Python automation for utility networks, we want to hear from you.
🧩 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂'𝗹𝗹 𝗗𝗼
Design, configure, and implement Esri Utility Network models for electric, gas, fiber, or telecommunications networks.
Lead migration and remediation of legacy GIS data into the Esri Utility Network while maintaining connectivity, topology, and data integrity.
Develop Python and ArcPy automation for data transformation, loading, validation, and quality assurance.
Perform schema mapping, ETL, and data remediation activities.
Configure Utility Network components including asset types, terminals, connectivity rules, associations, tiers, subnetworks, tracing, and topology.
Collaborate with utility and engineering teams to translate network requirements into scalable GIS solutions.
✅ 𝗬𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗙𝗶𝘁 𝗜𝗳 𝗬𝗼𝘂
7–10+ years of experience in GIS, utility GIS, or utility data engineering.
Hands-on experience implementing, configuring, or migrating data into the Esri Utility Network.
Strong experience with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise.
Advanced proficiency in Python and ArcPy for GIS automation.
Experience with ETL processes, schema mapping, data transformation, and data remediation.
Experience working with at least one utility domain: electric, gas, fiber, or telecommunications.
