About the Role
Sri Balaji Printers is looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and experienced DTP (Desktop Publishing) Operator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of designing, formatting, and preparing files for high-quality printing.
Key Responsibilities
Design and format various printing materials such as visiting cards, brochures, bill books, wedding cards, certificates, banners, flex designs, and other commercial print materials.
Prepare customer files for digital, offset, and large-format printing.
Ensure proper page size, margins, bleed, colour settings, resolution, and print-ready file formats.
Edit and modify customer-provided designs according to requirements.
Work with software such as CorelDRAW, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other relevant DTP software.
Handle Kannada and English typing and document formatting.
Coordinate with the production and printing team to ensure accurate output.
Check artwork carefully before sending it for printing.
Maintain organized files and customer design records.
Deliver assigned design and DTP work within the required timeline.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience as a DTP Operator, Graphic Designer, or Print Designer.
Strong knowledge of CorelDRAW is essential.
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator will be an added advantage.
Understanding of printing processes, colour modes (CMYK/RGB), resolution, bleed, and print finishing.
Knowledge of Kannada and English typing.
Good creativity, attention to detail, and accuracy.
Ability to handle multiple customer requirements and work under deadlines.
Experience in a printing press or digital printing environment is preferred.
