Assistant Manager Finance – CFS – Chennai Vallur
Job Purpose/Objective
To manage and control Debtors ageing, Debtors reconciliation, Customer follow up for outstanding.
To manage and control incentive provisioning, tax-related audits and queries, incentive payment processing and accurate maintenance of financial records.
To ensure the credit limit for the customers and ECL provisioning.
The role is critical for ensuring regulatory compliance, cost optimization and smooth financial operations by collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
Debtors Review, Credit limit and Control
Outstanding follow up with the Customers and Debtors Reconciliation
Prepare incentive provisioning calculations based on approved schemes and business inputs.
Maintain and update the incentive provision tracker regularly with actual payments.
Communicate approved incentive amounts to relevant stakeholders.
Handle tax-related queries and audits by providing necessary documentation and support to ensure compliance.
Initiate and follow up on credit note approvals related to incentive disbursements.
Coordinate with the Finance team to ensure timely processing of incentive payments.
Manage AP/AR netting processes to ensure accurate and efficient financial reconciliation.
Conduct cost savings analysis and contribute to identifying areas for financial efficiency and improvement.
Initiate and follow up on credit note approvals for processed incentive payments.
Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) netting processes to streamline financial reconciliation.
Co -ordination for preparation on the monthly MIS reports
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
Skills and Competencies
Qualified Chartered Accountant.
5–10 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in incentive processing or tax handling.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in cost analysis and budgeting.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
Attention to detail and accuracy in managing large datasets and financial records.
Excellent communication and coordination skills for stakeholder engagement.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge of tax regulations and experience handling audits is a plus.
Experience in handling audits and preparing necessary financial documentation.

Educational Qualification (min)
Chartered Accountant.
