About the role: Build and productionize AWS data pipelines, AI agents, and backend services. This hands-on role requires strong Python and AWS skills and the ability to work across Data, AI, and Backend engineering from design through deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Engineering and AWS Pipelines
Build ingestion and ETL pipelines using Python, PySpark, and AWS Glue.
Orchestrate workflows with AWS Step Functions and manage S3, Athena, and Glue Catalog data layers.
Backend and API Development
Build Python REST APIs and microservices for AI agents, front ends, and enterprise systems.·
Handle authentication, validation, logging, monitoring, integrations, containerization, and deployment.
AI Agent Development
Build agents using Amazon Bedrock, AgentCore, and Strands.·
Implement tool/function calling, workflows, state/context, RAG, evaluation, security, observability, and reusable components.
Engineering and DevOps·
Write clean, reusable, testable code using Git, CI/CD, and configuration-driven development.·
Follow IaC, cloud security, secrets management, logging, and monitoring standards.Terraform is preferred.
Required Skills :
Must Have ·
Strong Python and AWS development experience.·
Data pipeline/ETL experience with PySpark and preferably AWS Glue.·
Experience with S3, Athena, and AWS Step Functions.·
REST API and backend development experience.·
Hands-on LLM/GenAI or AI-agent development, including Amazon Bedrock.·
Exposure to AgentCore and/or Strands is highly desirable.·
Strong Git, software engineering, and CI/CD practices.
