𝑹𝒐𝒍𝒆 𝑶𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒆𝒘
We are looking for an experienced 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 – 𝐈𝐓 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 to lead and manage global IT operations and infrastructure.
The role will oversee the organization's 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬, 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞, 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐝-𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, with responsibility for operational excellence, security, compliance, scalability and business continuity.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in 𝐈𝐓 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐧-𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, IT security and IT operations, preferably within 𝐈𝐓/𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐒, 𝐒𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞, 𝐁𝐏𝐎 𝐨𝐫 𝐊𝐏𝐎 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬.

𝟏. 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩
Develop and execute IT infrastructure strategies aligned with business objectives.
Lead cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, automation and digital transformation initiatives.
Drive scalable, secure and resilient infrastructure architecture.
𝟐. 𝐈𝐓 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭
Oversee day-to-day IT infrastructure operations.
Manage incident, problem and change management processes.
Act as the escalation point for complex infrastructure incidents and operational issues.
Ensure high availability, uptime, performance and reliability.
Oversee development, staging and production environments.
Ensure IT operations follow ITIL best practices.
3. 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝 & 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞
Oversee AWS, Azure and/or GCP and on-premise infrastructure.
Manage enterprise servers, storage, virtualization, networks and data centers.
Ensure infrastructure scalability, availability and performance.
Drive capacity planning and performance optimization.
𝟒. 𝐃𝐑 & 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐲
Oversee Disaster Recovery (DR) planning, testing and implementation.
Lead Business Continuity initiatives for critical systems.
Ensure appropriate backup, recovery and high-availability strategies.
𝟓. 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩
Lead and mentor infrastructure engineers and IT support teams.
Establish accountability, collaboration and continuous-improvement practices.
Build and maintain a high-performing IT operations organization.
𝟔. 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 & 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞
Ensure infrastructure complies with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.
Work closely with cybersecurity teams to strengthen infrastructure security.
Implement proactive measures to prevent security breaches.
Support infrastructure controls, audits and governance.
Ensure protection of data and intellectual property, particularly in KPO operations.
𝟕. 𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐫 & 𝐁𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭
Manage infrastructure vendors and service providers.
Own infrastructure budgets, forecasts and cost optimization initiatives.
Evaluate technology and service-provider performance.
𝟖. 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠
Implement infrastructure monitoring tools and dashboards.
Drive proactive detection and resolution of infrastructure issues.
Report infrastructure health, performance, availability and KPIs to senior leadership.
𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚 / 𝑪𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒔
• 18–25 years of overall experience.
• 10+ years in IT Operations leadership within Software/BPO/ITES environments.
• Strong experience managing cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
• Enterprise infrastructure architecture and design.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure and/or GCP.
• LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, load balancers and network monitoring.
• VMware / Hyper-V virtualization.
• SAN/NAS and enterprise storage.
• High availability, backup and DR.
• Infrastructure monitoring tools such as SolarWinds / Nagios.
• Automation using Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell and/or Python.
• Strong ITIL / ITSM knowledge.
• End-user computing, desktop support, endpoint management and VDI.
• MDM and remote-support technologies.
• Infrastructure security, governance and compliance.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001 and GDPR.
• Capacity planning and performance tuning.
• Strong DR/BCP planning and testing experience.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
