JOB DESCRIPTION – FACTORY HEAD / GMO
Position: Factory Head / GMO
Industry: Textile & Garment Manufacturing
Location: Kasna, Greater Noida
Experience: 15–20+ Years
Key Responsibilities
Overall responsibility for factory operations, production, quality, efficiency and delivery.
Plan and monitor production targets, capacity utilization and operational performance.
Ensure smooth coordination between Production, PPC, Quality, IE, Stores, Maintenance, HR and Merchandising.
Drive productivity improvement, cost control and optimum utilization of manpower, machines and resources.
Ensure on-time production and dispatch as per customer/order requirements.
Monitor quality standards, rejection, rework and customer complaints and take corrective actions.
Review daily/weekly/monthly factory MIS, production performance and KPIs.
Identify operational bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, statutory requirements and audit requirements.
Develop and manage departmental HODs and build a strong performance-driven team.
Control factory operating costs, wastage and overheads while maintaining productivity.
Drive implementation of 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing and process improvement initiatives.
Report factory performance and key operational issues to Senior Management and ensure timely resolution.
