Role: - Software Engineer specializing in ASP.NET

A highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer specializing in ASP.NET Core WebAPI with a strong background in RESTful API development, OData, cloud technologies, and scalable backend architecture. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing backend services to support business needs. The candidate will be responsible for driving technical excellence, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring best coding practices. Passionate about building robust, efficient, and high-performance applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
Deliverables / Key Responsibilities:
· The candidate should be proactive, accountable, and eager to take ownership of tasks while contributing to team and organizational growth.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance ASP.NET Core WebAPI applications.
Implement and optimize RESTful APIs and OData services for efficient data exchange.
Collaborate with front-end, DevOps, and product teams to align business requirements with technical solutions.
Develop database queries using Entity Framework Core and ensure optimized data handling.
Drive API security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data protection.
Ensure high code quality by following SOLID principles, clean architecture, and design patterns.
Troubleshoot and debug backend performance issues, optimizing system efficiency.
Participate in code reviews, mentorship, and knowledge-sharing sessions for the development team.
Work on containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud deployment (Azure) to enhance scalability.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation for smooth deployment.
Stay updated with emerging technologies to continuously improve backend architecture and performance.
Specific Job Requirements:
8+ years of experience in backend development using ASP.NET Core WebAPI.
Expert in C# and .NET Core/.NET 6+ with deep understanding of RESTful API architecture.
Strong experience in OData services and OData protocol implementation.
Hands-on experience with Entity Framework Core and relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.).
Proficiency in Azure cloud services, including Azure Functions, App Services, and Azure SQL.
Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
Experience in unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins).
Proficiency with Git and version control workflows (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to mentor junior developers and collaborate in an Agile environment.
