Are you ready to advance your career in regulatory reporting? At J.P. Morgan SE, you will join a top 20 EU banking entity supervised by the European Central Bank and work with colleagues across Germany, Poland, Luxembourg, India, the UK and the US. You will deliver high-quality regulatory reporting, support regulatory projects and contribute to the continued development of our reporting processes in a collaborative, international environment.
As a Regulatory Reporting Associate in the Capital Monitoring and Regulatory Reporting team, you will create and submit high-quality regulatory reports and participate in projects that drive change. You will apply a robust control framework to ensure accuracy and compliance. You are the subject matter expert on COREP Reporting – Own Funds, Large Exposure, Leverage Ratio , FRTB and Pillar 3 Disclosure, collaborating with various stakeholders internally and externally to resolve findings and support continuous improvement. Your role empowers you to contribute to the team’s success and the firm’s reputation.
Job responsibilities
Prepare and submit COREP reports in accordance with applicable EU regulatory requirements to the Deutsche Bundesbank and the European Central Bank.
Prepare and review Pillar 3 disclosures.
Apply the control environment, operating model, process tools and documentation to support effective market risk calculations and regulatory report production.
Perform investigations and ad hoc analysis, respond to internal and external queries, and lead or support projects relating to regulatory reporting.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
At least 4 years of experience in regulatory reporting/financial environment with strong knowledge of German and European regulatory requirements, especially CRR3 and reporting requirements
Hands-on COREP reporting experience, with knowledge of Own Funds, FRTB or other market risk reporting components.
General knowledge of financial products and market mechanisms.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to critically review and challenge reported figures.
Flexibility to work under pressure and respond to changing requirements and regulatory deadlines.
Proactive, self-starting approach with a high level of ownership.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Knowledge in regulatory reporting requirements such as Common Reporting for European Bank
Experience with CRR3 Pillar 3 disclosure requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
An accounting qualification and experience within the financial services industry.
