Proven experience in Florist or hospitality management.
Strong team management skills.

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:
To assume responsibilities of Florist Manager in her/his absent
Assist in preparing and arranging fresh flowers, floral displays, bouquets, flower baskets, and decorative arrangements according to hotel standards.
Support daily floral requirements for guest suites, public areas, restaurants, events, weddings, VIP arrivals, and other hotel functions.
Assist with the preparation and delivery of guest floral orders, ensuring accuracy, presentation, and timely delivery.
Maintain and refresh floral arrangements throughout the hotel, replacing wilted or damaged flowers when required.
Receive fresh flower deliveries and check the quality, quantity, freshness, and condition against orders or delivery documents.
Properly condition, trim, hydrate, and store fresh flowers and foliage to maintain quality and maximize lifespan.
Maintain the flower chiller, florist workshop, flower shop, storage areas, tools, equipment, and work surfaces in a clean, hygienic, and organized condition.
Monitor flower and floral supply inventory, including vases, pots, floral foam, ribbons, wrapping materials, accessories, and decorative items.
Assist with stock counts and inform the Florist Manager/Supervisor of low stock, damaged items, or replenishment requirements.
Minimize flower wastage through proper handling, storage, rotation, and utilization of available materials.
Assist in caring for indoor plants and decorative plants throughout designated hotel areas.
Support the setup and dismantling of floral decorations for festive seasons, weddings, banquets, special events, and hotel promotions.
Ensure all floral arrangements reflect the Waldorf Astoria luxury image, Brand Standards, and Forbes Service Standards.
Handle flowers, tools, chemicals, ladders, equipment, and decorative materials safely and in accordance with hotel safety procedures.
Coordinate with Housekeeping, F&B, Events, Front Office, Personal Concierge and other departments regarding floral requirements and delivery schedules.
Maintain professional grooming and provide courteous assistance when interacting with guests and Team Members.
Attend daily briefings, departmental training, and operational meetings as required.
Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Florist Manager or Housekeeping Management to support hotel operations.
