We’re Hiring: Senior FPGA Engineer | Tractrix Opto Dynamics
Tractrix Opto Dynamics is a Hyderabad-based deep-tech company founded in 2019, working on advanced solutions in Defense, Aerospace, and Optics applications. Our work includes seeker system optics, free-space optical communication, and adaptive optics test benches, with clients such as DRDO, Indian Navy, and Bharat Dynamics Limited.
About the Role:
We are looking for a talented Senior FPGA Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad. The role involves designing, implementing, and verifying FPGA-based solutions for high-performance signal processing, imaging, optics, and laser systems.
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India
Experience: 5+ Years
Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech/ M.E./ M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, ECE, VLSI, or related field
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and verify FPGA-based systems using Verilog/SystemVerilog or VHDL.
2. Develop RTL architectures including FSMs, datapaths, FIFOs, pipelines, memories, control logic, and reusable IPs.
3. Work with AMD/Xilinx Zynq, UltraScale/UltraScale+, Kintex, Virtex and/or Intel Agilex FPGAs.
4. Perform simulation, synthesis, implementation, timing analysis, and timing closure.
5. Resolve setup/hold violations, CDC issues, and develop XDC/SDC timing constraints.
6. Work with high-speed interfaces including AXI/APB, DDR3/DDR4, PCIe, Ethernet, UART/RS232/RS422, SPI, I²C, LVDS/MIPI, and high-speed transceivers.
7. Integrate FPGAs with processors/SoCs, ADCs/DACs, sensors, cameras, and peripherals.
8. Optimize FPGA resources including LUT, FF, BRAM, DSP, and clock resources.
9. Debug designs using Vivado/Quartus, ILA/SignalTap, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
10. Support FPGA board bring-up and troubleshoot hardware/firmware integration issues.
11.Collaborate with PCB, embedded software, verification, and system teams.
Review designs and documentation, mentor junior engineers, and take ownership of FPGA modules/subsystems.
Be part of a technology-driven team working on advanced FPGA, high-speed digital, embedded, and optoelectronic systems, with opportunities to work on challenging end-to-end product development.
