Accounts Payable Officer / Bookkeeper

Saileor is hiring an Accounts Payable Officer/ Bookkeeper on behalf of our client, a multi-entity retail group based in Perth, Western Australia.
Perth is only 2.5 hours ahead of India. Your day runs roughly 7:00 to 16:00 IST and covers almost the full Australian working day
Experience & Qualifications
2-5 years' experience in accounts payable or bookkeeping
Minimum bachelor's degree in accounting/commerce (B.Com or equivalent)
Sound understanding of accounting principles
Key Responsibilities
Full invoice entry and coding across the Group's entities
Matching invoices to purchase orders / POD (proof of delivery) before processing
Supplier statement reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
Supporting month-end close: accruals, journals, and reconciliations as directed
Bank and general ledger reconciliations as required
Working within Business Central (NAV), with Continia for invoice/OCR processing
Working closely with the onshore finance team and the offshore team in the Philippines to ensure smooth handover and coverage of tasks
Liaising with suppliers on queries
General financial administration support as needed
Flexibility to work additional hours from time to time to meet business deadlines, particularly around month-end
