Role Overview
We are building a network of experienced Communication Skills Trainers to deliver structured training programmes for students of colleges and universities across North and Central India.
The role involves facilitating engaging, practical and outcome-oriented sessions designed to improve students’ English communication, professional communication, employability and workplace-readiness skills.
Trainers may be engaged for individual projects, short-term programmes or recurring institutional assignments, depending on their expertise, location and availability.
Key Responsibilities1. Classroom Training
Deliver interactive communication and employability skills sessions to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Conduct sessions in classroom, laboratory, workshop and blended-learning environments.
Facilitate individual, pair and group activities rather than relying solely on lecture-based instruction.
Manage diverse student groups and maintain an engaging learning environment.
Adapt training delivery to students with different levels of English proficiency.
2. Communication Skills Development
Train students in areas such as:
Spoken English and conversational fluency
Grammar and functional English
Vocabulary and language accuracy
Listening and comprehension
Reading and interpretation
Business and professional communication
Email and written communication
Presentation skills
Public speaking
Group discussions
Personal interviews
Workplace etiquette and professional behaviour
Confidence and interpersonal communication
3. Employability & Career Readiness
Where relevant, trainers may also facilitate:
GD and PI preparation
Resume and self-introduction skills
Interview communication
Corporate communication
Workplace conversations
Team communication
Problem-solving and situational communication
Professional presence and executive communication
4. Assessment & Learner Progress
Trainers may be required to:
Conduct diagnostic and formative assessments.
Evaluate speaking, listening, reading and writing performance.
Provide structured feedback to learners.
Track learner progress against defined competencies.
Conduct presentations, role plays, simulations, GDs and mock interviews.
Maintain basic training and assessment records.
5. Curriculum & Content Support
Experienced trainers may also contribute to:
Reviewing training content.
Developing classroom activities and exercises.
Creating assessments and practice assignments.
Suggesting improvements based on learner performance.
Aligning activities with defined proficiency levels, including CEFR-aligned learning outcomes, where applicable.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for professionals who demonstrate a combination of subject expertise, classroom capability and higher-education training experience.
Essential Qualifications
Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognised institution.
Excellent command of spoken and written English.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to facilitate classroom learning.
Good interpersonal and learner-management skills.
Ability to work with students from diverse academic and linguistic backgrounds.
Preferred Educational Qualifications
Preference may be given to candidates with qualifications in:

Journalism / Mass Communication
Other relevant disciplines
Professional certifications in English Language Teaching, Soft Skills, Communication, Training & Development or related areas will be an advantage.
ExperiencePreferred Experience
3+ years of professional training experience preferred.
Experience in higher education / colleges / universities strongly preferred.
Experience working with undergraduate or postgraduate students is an advantage.
Experience delivering programmes to large student cohorts is desirable.
Corporate training or employability-skills training experience will be an added advantage.
Candidates with strong domain expertise and demonstrable classroom capability may also be considered based on their profile.

Trainers from other cities across North and Central India are also encouraged to apply.
Willingness to travel to nearby cities for institutional assignments will be an advantage.
