Role Description This full-time Income Auditor role is an on-site position based at a Hilton property in Trivandrum. The Income Auditor is responsible for reviewing, verifying, and reconciling daily revenue reports and supporting documents from all hotel outlets to ensure accuracy and completeness. The role includes auditing postings to the property management system, investigating discrepancies, and preparing daily income journals and summaries for the finance team. The Income Auditor will monitor Accounts Receivable, support billing and collection processes, and help maintain compliance with Hilton policies, internal controls, and local regulations. The position involves close collaboration with front office, food and beverage, and finance colleagues, as well as preparing reports and documentation needed for internal and external audits.
Qualifications
Strong accounting knowledge, including Accounting principles and Finance fundamentals relevant to hospitality operations.
Demonstrated experience in Auditing activities, with the ability to review, verify, and document income and transactional data accurately.
Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, including balancing daily revenue reports and resolving variances in income records.
Hands-on experience with Accounts Receivable (AR), billing processes, and monitoring outstanding balances.
Familiarity with hotel property management and point-of-sale systems, and strong Excel and general MS Office skills.
High attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to work with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner with cross-functional teams and maintain professional confidentiality.
Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; relevant hospitality or audit experience is an advantage.
