Key Responsibilities
• Perform day-to-day fund accounting activities for private equity, private credit, real estate, or
other alternative investment funds.
• Work extensively with the Allvue Fund Accounting platform for transaction processing,
accounting, reporting, and fund operations.
• Maintain fund books and records and ensure accurate accounting entries.
• Perform cash, investment, capital, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support periodic NAV calculation and review processes.
• Process and review capital calls, distributions, contributions, transfers, and other fund
transactions.
• Record and reconcile investment activity, including purchases, sales, income, expenses, and
valuations.
• Support quarterly/monthly close processes and preparation of fund financial statements.
• Assist with investor allocations, management fees, carried interest, and other fund-level
calculations.
• Investigate and resolve accounting breaks, discrepancies, and reconciliation issues.
• Prepare and review financial and operational reports generated through Allvue.
• Coordinate with internal teams, auditors, tax teams, administrators, and clients as required.
• Ensure adherence to accounting policies, controls, and operational procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve fund accounting processes and automation within Allvue.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 3–8 years of experience in fund accounting, investment accounting, or alternative investment
operations.
• Hands-on experience with Allvue is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of fund accounting concepts and investment structures.
• Experience with private equity, private credit, real estate, hedge funds, or other alternative
investments.
• Good knowledge of NAV calculation, capital activity, investment accounting, and
reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial statements.
• Experience with month-end/quarter-end close activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of financial data.
• Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with global teams.
