Role Description As an Artificial Intelligence Engineer at Lemeno, you will design, build, and deploy AI models that power personal agents for high-frequency search and notification tasks. You will work on pattern recognition, natural language understanding, and matching algorithms that translate user instructions in plain language into precise, reliable filters and alerts. On a day-to-day basis, you will develop and optimize neural network architectures, integrate models into production systems, and collaborate with software engineers to ensure robust APIs and data pipelines. You will analyze agent performance, run experiments, and improve the accuracy, speed, and explainability of the platform. This is a full-time remote role, requiring close collaboration with a distributed team using modern development and communication tools.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, and production-grade coding practices.
Experience with Neural Networks and Pattern Recognition for building and optimizing machine learning and deep learning models.
Hands-on expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), including intent detection, text classification, and entity extraction.
Proficiency in languages and frameworks commonly used for AI and backend development (e.g., Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow, RESTful APIs, cloud platforms).
Ability to design, evaluate, and iterate on end-to-end ML pipelines, including data collection, preprocessing, training, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
Comfort working with real-world, noisy data sources, web integrations, and messaging platforms (e.g., WhatsApp APIs) to build reliable user-facing agents.
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong problem-solving skills, clear communication, and a collaborative mindset suitable for a fast-moving startup environment.
