🚀 We’re Hiring: CAD Designer | Chennai | Work From Office
BotForge Labs is a robotics & AI company building intelligent robotic systems for the real world. We’re looking for a CAD Designer who enjoys turning ideas into precise, manufacturable mechanical designs.
What You’ll Do?
Create detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings.
Design mechanical components and assemblies for robotics applications.
Convert concepts and prototypes into practical, manufacturable designs.
Collaborate closely with mechanical, electronics, robotics, and AI teams.
Support prototyping, fabrication, testing, and design iterations.
Ensure designs meet requirements for functionality, strength, fit, and manufacturability.
Maintain accurate drawings, BOMs, and design documentation.
🎯 What We’re Looking For
Strong skills in 3D CAD modeling and mechanical design
Good understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals.
Experience with open source CAD tools such as Blender, Free CAD, etc.,
Understanding of manufacturing processes, tolerances, fasteners, and materials.
Ability to interpret and create engineering drawings
A hands-on, problem-solving mindset.
Interest in robotics, automation, and emerging technology is a strong plus.
