Product Manager

Boon, a Gurgaon-based water technology startup, is seeking a passionate and results-oriented Product Manager to join our growing team. Boon is on a mission to revolutionize water access and usage through innovative solutions. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our product roadmap, bringing game-changing water technologies to market.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor landscape in the water technology space.
Define the product vision and roadmap, prioritizing features based on market demand, technical feasibility, and business goals.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, sales) to translate product vision into actionable plans.
Develop detailed product specifications and user stories, ensuring clarity and alignment with stakeholder needs.
Manage the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, including prioritization, backlog management, and sprint planning (working knowledge of Agile methodologies a plus).
Collaborate with engineers to ensure technical feasibility and define success metrics for new features.
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on product design.
Own the product go-to-market strategy, including launch planning, messaging, and collateral development.
Track and analyze product performance metrics (usage data, customer feedback) to identify areas for improvement.
Stay up-to-date on the latest water technology advancements and market trends.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the technology or B2B space.
Proven track record of bringing products to market successfully.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
Experience with user research methodologies and user experience (UX) principles.
Proficiency in product management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana) and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile).
A passion for water conservation and sustainable solutions.
A plus: Understanding of engineering principles related to water technology (filtration, purification, etc.)
