We are hiring across every vertical: Retail Broking, Investment Banking, Institutional Equities, AIF, PMS, Wealth Management, Compliance, Technology, and our upcoming AMC. Each role demands a specific kind of person - not just qualified, but entrepreneurial. Not just experienced, but hungry.
We don't need an HR recruiter. We need a Talent Acquisition Head who thinks like a CEO, someone who understands that every hire either accelerates or slows down the company, and treats recruitment with that level of seriousness.
THE MONARCH CONTEXT — WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE DIFFERENT
This is not a 10,000-employee company where hiring is a volume game. This is a high growth, high conviction platform where every hire is visible, every person matters.
A few things you should know before you apply:
▸ Lowest attrition rate in the industry. People don't leave Monarch. Your job is to ensure the people who join are the reason others stay, not the reason they leave.
▸ 8 verticals, each with distinct hiring needs. A Research Analyst is a fundamentally different hire from a Deal Originator or a Compliance Head. You need to understand every business deeply enough to know what "great" looks like in each role.
▸ We have never hired through advertising. Every senior hire has come through networks, referrals, and direct outreach. You need to build and own those pipelines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Talent Strategy & Planning
▸ Own the entire talent acquisition function end-to-end, from workforce planning and JD creation to sourcing, screening, offer negotiation, and onboarding handoff.
▸ Work directly with the CEO and business heads to understand hiring priorities, role requirements, and the specific DNA of candidates who succeed at Monarch, not just on paper, but in our culture.
2. Sourcing & Outreach
▸ Develop a direct sourcing engine - headhunting, industry mapping, passive candidate outreach, alumni networks, conference networking.
3. Screening & Quality Control
▸ Implement a rigorous screening process that filters for three things: competence, culture fit, and ownership mindset. Technical skills get you in the door. Attitude determines if you stay.
4. Individual Contribution
▸ While you lead a small team, you also personally drive the CXO and senior level hiring for the organization to find the right fit leaders for our next phase of growth.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Experience : 8-15 years in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years heading the function. Financial services experience strongly preferred.
Industry Understanding : Must understand the financial services talent landscape - broking, investment banking, research, compliance, fund management.
Sourcing Expertise : Proven track record of direct sourcing and headhunting for senior/niche roles.
Tools : Proficient in LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, recruitment analytics. Advanced Excel for MIS.
Education : MBA in HR / Postgraduate in Human Resources preferred.
