Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site ASO Specialist role based in Gurugram. The ASO Specialist will be responsible for optimizing app store listings to maximize visibility, conversions, and organic installs across platforms such as Google Play and the Apple App Store. Daily tasks include conducting keyword research, analyzing competitor apps, refining metadata, and A/B testing creative assets such as icons, screenshots, and descriptions. The role also involves monitoring performance metrics, preparing regular reports, collaborating with marketing and product teams on app growth strategies, and aligning ASO efforts with broader digital campaigns. The ASO Specialist will stay updated on app store algorithm changes and industry best practices to continuously improve app rankings and user acquisition.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in app store optimization, including keyword research, metadata optimization, and A/B testing of app creatives.
Candidates should possess skills in analytics and performance tracking, such as working with app analytics tools, conversion rate analysis, and cohort-based user behavior insights.
Candidates should possess skills in digital marketing and growth strategies, including mobile user acquisition, basic SEO principles, and understanding of paid and organic channels.
Candidates should possess skills in content and communication, including writing clear app descriptions, collaborating with design teams, and presenting insights to stakeholders.
Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Technology, or a related field; prior experience in ASO or mobile marketing is preferred.
Familiarity with major app stores, mobile industry trends, and tools such as AppFollow, Sensor Tower, App Annie, or similar platforms is beneficial.
