About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

CredServ - Growth and Product Manager
Location: Mumbai / Bengaluru only
Type: Full-time | Reports to: Founder / VP Product GTM | Start: Immediate
ANY APPLICATIONS WITHOUT THE PREREQUISITE DELIVERABLES MENTIONED IN THE “HOW TO APPLY” SECTION WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
About CredServ
CredServ is building the operating layer for financial relationships between businesses — an AI-native platform built for how companies trade, monitor exposure, collect cash, and reconcile.
Live products today:
• CredCheck — who to do business with, how much exposure to take, how to monitor the relationship.
• CredCollect — an AI conversation agent that follows up on invoices and gets businesses paid faster, with a human in the loop.
Downstream: CredRecon. The long game is a global business-relationship graph. Every customer is a node. Every distributor, dealer, and invoice is an edge.
We acquire three compounding cohorts: corporates who sell through dealers; SMB / MSME distributors and dealers; and independent last-mile businesses who collect from customers. Each cohort has a different product surface. Mixing them is how conversion dies. Read more about what we do: credserv.ai

The role
We need an execution-first Product GTM Manager who will own revenue quality and unit economics from week one — and who treats AI agents as staff, not as a slide topic.
This is not a brand job. This is not a ‘give me a performance-marketing budget and a team’ job. Paid social already exists for SMB and micro-business acquisition. Corporate acquisitions are named-account work, LinkedIn, and live working sessions. A Grok agent desk already drafts research, iteration, and execution. You will run that desk, sit with customers, force the smallest product changes that move conversion, and be accountable for rupees in versus rupees out.
If your instinct is to scale spend before activation is understood, this seat will feel underpowered. That is intentional.
What you will own
• A weekly number: corporate pilots closed, SMB/distributor organisations that reach a first value event, and last-mile users who collect a first rupee — not pipeline coverage or MQL volume.
• Unit economics by cohort: cost to a working session (corporate), cost to activation (SMB), cost to first reminder and first collection (micro). Floors are published. Breaching them to buy volume is a miss.
• The daily loop: execute → measure → kill what does not work → specify a product micro-fix → ship → execute again.
• Corporate motion: named accounts, insight-led LinkedIn, 20-minute working sessions (hear the agent on real overdue rows), 14-day DSO-sprint pilots, and invites that pull the corporate’s dealers onto CredServ.
• SMB and micro motion: hold existing Instagram / Facebook / YouTube / WhatsApp and on-ground UGC / affiliate channels to activation and cash — reallocate every day. Do not ‘run the campaign’.
• Direct the existing AI agents (research, iteration, execution). Improve their prompts and playbooks. Do not replace them with a meeting culture.
• Write one-page product patch specs (example: GSTIN-first signup, WhatsApp three-name collect list, shareable agent recording, dealer-invite claim). Sit with engineering until the patch is live.
• A daily numbers note and a weekly review. Short. No committee decks.
What you will not own
• A blank media cheque or a six-person demand-gen org in quarter one.
• Making paid social the primary way we reach CFOs.
• Brand campaigns, generic webinars, or ‘category design’ as the job.
• A 90-day listening tour before touching a customer.
What this looks like in 90 days
• You have personally run corporate working sessions and taken at least one pilot to a convert-or-kill decision, with dealer invites actually sent.
• SMB activation and first-value-event rates have moved because a step was deleted or a journey was tightened — not only because more ads were bought.
• At least one product change you specified is live and visible in conversion.
• Unit-economic floors have held for four straight weeks, or you have formally changed a floor with evidence.
• You can run the daily desk — including the AI agents — without the founder in the room.
Who this is for
You have carried a number in a messy B2B motion — credit, collections, channel / distribution software, ERP-adjacent products, invoice / trade finance, MSME infrastructure — and you can open the spreadsheet, not just the narrative.
You have done some mix of the following:
• Taken a motion from founder-led selling to a thin, repeatable machine.
• Improved a funnel by removing steps, not by buying more traffic.
• Sat across the table from a CFO or a proprietor, heard no, and still closed or cleanly killed.
• Used AI agents as colleagues this month — concrete workflows, not ‘we are exploring GenAI’.
• Worked India: English and Hindi. A regional language is an advantage. You will travel for customer dinners and shop-floor / godown conversations.
You do not need to have run a 50-person growth team. You do need to have been responsible when the week missed.
Who this is not for
• Operators who are not working in an AI native work environment.
• Operators who do not delegate >50% of their BAU to AI agents.
• Marketers whose primary proof is ‘we scaled spend 10x’.
• Strategy consultants who have never owned a revenue target after leaving the firm.
• Operators who need a large team and a media tranche before they will touch a customer.
• People who treat WhatsApp-led or last-mile motions as beneath them.
How to apply
Send a short note (one page, not a manifesto) to vivek.kothari@credserv.in, or apply through the board, with the following:
• A motion you owned where spends went down and revenue quality went up. What did you cut?
• CAC / payback on that motion, and one metric you refused to optimise.
• How you use AI in your work this month — tools, prompts, or agents, not a point of view.
• What you would do in week one at CredServ with no new paid-media budget, across a corporate buyer and a WhatsApp-led SMB buyer.
The subject title of your email must contain [PRODUCT GTM MANAGER – CSJR0025].
ANY APPLICATIONS WITHOUT THE ABOVE PREREQUISITE DELIVERABLES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
Do not apply if you do not work in a native AI environment / are not at a stage where you delegate >50% of your BAU to AI. This is a high performance role that requires you to leverage AI to its fullest potential.
Candidates who progress will complete a six-hour case before any offer. We hire on the work, not on the performance of the interview.
CredServ is an equal-opportunity employer. We care that you can run the desk.
