EHS Officer

Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced EHS Officer to ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance across project sites. The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety practices, conducting inspections, managing risks, and promoting a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and maintain EHS systems across project sites.
Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations and standards.
Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Investigate incidents and conduct root cause analysis.
Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training.
Monitor contractor and subcontractor safety compliance.
Review method statements and implement permit-to-work systems.
Coordinate emergency response plans, fire safety, and evacuation procedures.
Monitor waste management, noise, air quality, and other environmental requirements.
Maintain safety records, reports, KPIs, and incident documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Diploma in Industrial Safety (DIS) or equivalent qualification.
2–4 years of experience in EHS, preferably in construction/infrastructure.
NEBOSH IGC / IOSH certification is preferred.
First Aid and CPR certification is mandatory.
Good knowledge of Indian safety regulations.
Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
Strong understanding of construction safety and high-risk activities.

Ability to conduct safety training and awareness programs.

Ability to work with project teams, contractors, and other stakeholders.
