Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Experienced Accountant role based in Gurugram. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger posting, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable. The Experienced Accountant will prepare financial statements, support statutory audits, and assist with tax computations, filings, and related compliances. Responsibilities also include reviewing vouchers, verifying supporting documents, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The role requires collaborating with internal teams and clients, responding to queries, and providing clear financial insights and reports within agreed timelines.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in core accounting, including bookkeeping, ledger management, and financial statement preparation.
Experience with taxation and regulatory compliance, such as direct and indirect tax calculations, filings, and documentation.
Hands-on knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and advanced MS Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
Ability to perform reconciliations, manage payables/receivables, and ensure accurate, timely month-end and year-end closing.
Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.
Relevant professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost Accountant, or a degree in Accounting/Finance.
Prior experience in a CA firm or in a similar accounting role, demonstrating reliability, integrity, and ownership of deliverables.
