Senior Executive – Human Resources & Administration
Role Type: Individual Contributor
Reporting To: Assistant Manager – HR & Administration
Industry Preference: Food / FMCG / Manufacturing
Job Location Vasai – Factory Location
Pickup & drop facility available from Vasai Station
Working Days: Monday to Saturday (6 days)
Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (General Shift)
Experience: 2–6 years
Role Overview
The Senior Executive – HR & Administration will be responsible for managing end-to-end factory HR operations, contract labour management, statutory compliance, industrial relations, and plant administration.
The role requires a hands-on HR professional with strong exposure to shop-floor workforce management, labour laws, employee relations, and factory administration.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations
Manage recruitment and onboarding for factory employees and contract workforce.
Maintain employee records, attendance, leave, and HR documentation.
Manage time office activities including attendance, overtime, shift scheduling, and payroll inputs.
Support performance management processes and maintain relevant documentation.
Coordinate training, skill development, and employee engagement initiatives.
Handle employee grievances and support positive industrial relations on the shop floor.
2. Contract Labour & Contractor Management
Manage the complete contract labour lifecycle, including onboarding, documentation, attendance, and exits.
Ensure manpower availability as per production and shift requirements.
Verify contractor attendance, wage payments, statutory contributions, and billing.
Ensure contractors comply with applicable labour laws and contractual obligations.
Maintain contractor agreements and track renewals and SLA adherence.
Conduct periodic contractor compliance audits.
3. Statutory Compliance
Ensure compliance with applicable labour and factory regulations, including:
Factories Act
Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act
PF & ESI
Bonus & Gratuity
Minimum Wages and other applicable labour laws
Maintain statutory registers, records, and returns.
Ensure contractor licences, registrations, and compliance documentation are up to date.
Coordinate with government authorities, auditors, and inspectors.
Ensure readiness for internal and external audits.
4. Administration & Facility Management
Manage factory administration covering housekeeping, canteen, transport, security, and utilities.
Ensure high standards of safety, discipline, hygiene, and workplace upkeep.
Manage vendors, including onboarding, performance monitoring, and cost control.
Oversee procurement and inventory of administrative supplies.
5. Employee Welfare & Engagement
Drive employee welfare initiatives, including health check-ups, statutory benefits, and safety programmes.
Organize employee engagement and communication initiatives.
Support a positive, safe, and compliant work environment at the plant.
Knowledge & Skills
Strong knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance.
Hands-on experience in factory/plant HR operations and industrial relations.
Experience in contract labour and contractor management.
Good understanding of time office, attendance, payroll inputs, and employee lifecycle.
Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS systems.
Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage blue-collar workforce effectively.
High level of ownership, discipline, and attention to detail.
Qualification & Experience
Graduate/Postgraduate in HR / Personnel Management / MSW.
MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
2–6 years of relevant experience in Factory/Plant HR.
Preferred industries: Food / FMCG / Manufacturing.

Comfortable working at a plant location with regular shop-floor interaction.
