JD– Senior Mixed Signal Design Engineer
Position: Senior Mixed Signal Design Engineer
Experience: 8-15 Years
Department: R&D / Hardware Engineering
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop mixed-signal electronic systems integrating analog, digital, and power electronics circuits.
Create system architectures, schematics, and detailed hardware designs based on product requirements.
Design analog circuits including amplifiers, filters, power supplies, sensor interfaces, and signal conditioning circuits.
Develop digital hardware using microcontrollers, DSPs, FPGAs, memory, and communication interfaces.
Interface ADCs, DACs, sensors, and high-speed communication circuits.
Perform circuit simulation, design analysis, and component selection.
Review and guide PCB layout activities with focus on signal integrity, power integrity, grounding, isolation, and EMI/EMC compliance.
Support prototype bring-up, hardware debugging, validation, and qualification testing.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for design and production issues.
Work closely with firmware, mechanical, quality, manufacturing, and industrialization teams.
Support DFM (Design for Manufacturing), DFT (Design for Testability), and productization activities.
Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and technical decision-making.
Knowledge of aerospace and defense standards such as DO-160, DO-178C, and DO-254, with exposure in requirements traceability, verification & validation, design assurance, and certification support for safety-critical electronic systems.

Cross-Functional Responsibilities
Collaborate with Industrialization/NPI teams for smooth transition from design to production.
Support prototype, pilot, and mass production builds.
Work with SCM, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to address component, production, and reliability issues.
Drive continuous improvement in product performance, manufacturability, cost, and quality.
Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field.
Experience in complete product lifecycle from concept, design, validation, and production release.
