Role Description The Picker Packer role at Amazon Fresh is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. In this role, the team member selects customer orders from shelves, cold storage, and other inventory locations, ensuring items match order specifications and quality standards. The Picker Packer carefully packs items for shipment, labels and organizes parcels, and prepares orders for dispatch according to established procedures. Daily tasks include using handheld devices or scanners, following safety guidelines, maintaining cleanliness in the work area, and meeting performance and accuracy targets. The role requires working in varying temperature zones, standing for extended periods, and collaborating with supervisors and colleagues to support smooth warehouse operations.
Qualifications
Ability to accurately pick, sort, and pack items while maintaining attention to detail and meeting quality standards.
Capability to work on feet for long periods, lift and move packages within reasonable weight limits, and operate in different temperature environments.
Comfort with using handheld scanners or basic digital tools, and following standard operating procedures for inventory and order processing.
Strong time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet productivity targets in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills and a collaborative attitude to work respectfully with supervisors and team members.
Willingness to follow all safety, hygiene, and compliance guidelines in the facility.
Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, retail, or order fulfillment is beneficial but not mandatory.
Minimum educational background at the high school level or equivalent, and eligibility to work on-site in Gurugram.
