Through this Graduate Industry Traineeship (GRIT), you will gain practical experience supporting end-user technologies and workplace services within a professional enterprise environment.
As an Onsite Engineer Trainee, you will work alongside experienced IT support professionals to provide technical assistance, desktop support, and workplace technology services for enterprise users. This traineeship offers hands-on exposure to hardware and software troubleshooting, device deployment, user support, IT service management, and enterprise support operations.
This role is suitable for fresh graduates who are passionate about technology, customer service, and solving technical problems while developing a strong foundation for a career in IT infrastructure and end-user computing support.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
Provide onsite technical support for hardware, software, and operating system-related issues.
Support troubleshooting of basic network connectivity, email, VPN, and application access issues.
Assist with user account provisioning, password resets, and access management activities.
Support software installations, upgrades, patch management, and system updates.
Participate in asset management activities, including device inventory tracking and hardware allocation.
Assist with imaging, re-imaging, configuration, and deployment of end-user devices according to company standards.
Document technical issues, resolutions, and support procedures within ticketing and service management systems.
Support daily service desk and onsite support operations to ensure timely resolution of assigned tickets.
Collaborate with infrastructure, network, security, and application support teams to resolve technical issues.
Support IT service management processes and adherence to established service levels.
Assist in maintaining compliance with organizational IT security policies and standards.
Participate in team meetings, knowledge-sharing sessions, and continuous learning initiatives.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who:
Hold a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or have graduated in 2024, 2025, or 2026.
Possess strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrate a customer-focused mindset and willingness to provide excellent user support.
Have good verbal and written communication skills.
Are able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Have the ability to learn new technologies and adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced workplace.
Possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Technical Knowledge
Candidates should have basic to intermediate knowledge in at least two or more of the following areas:

GRIT Programme Eligibility
All trainees must fulfil the following criteria:
Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident.
Graduated in 2024, 2025, or 2026 from a University, Polytechnic, Institute of Technical Education (ITE), or other educational institution (including private universities and overseas institutions); or
Graduated earlier from the above institutions and completed National Service (NS) in 2024, 2025, or 2026.
Must be prepared to commit to a full-time traineeship.
