Research & Systems Design Intern

We partner with non-profits, social enterprises, and purpose-driven organisations on projects across Research, System Design, Service Design, Behaviour Change, and Human-Centered Design.
About the role
As a Research & Systems Design Intern, you will work alongside a Design Research lead and a cross-functional team to understand the ground realities of the problems we are solving with our partner organisations.
You will get the opportunity to be involved across different stages of a project from understanding the context and conducting research to synthesising insights, supporting ideation, developing prototypes, and documenting the process.
Your key responsibilities are
To work on the research processes across different projects - research, strategy, insight finding, support ideation, prototyping and delivery.
Understand beneficiary needs, organisation requirements and context for innovation through various Design Thinking methods.
Document the process & create detailed Research Reports of Quantitative & Qualitative research studies
Translate insights from user research into actionable digital and physical directions through various design methods and storytelling.
Communicate experience strategies through tools such as Persona Creation, Flow Maps, Customer Journeys, Mental Modelling, Quick Mock ups etc.
Lead some projects & assist fellow team members in conducting research
Participate in beneficiary interactions across phases to contribute towards insights and opportunities which could be converted into innovative customer touch points
Softwares: Miro, Google Suite, Notion
