Develop designs that balance quality, aesthetics, functionality, durability, and budget.
Recommend appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, fixtures, fittings, and accessories.
Execution & Project Coordination
Take ownership of projects from initial site survey to final handover.
Conduct regular site visits and monitor progress against approved designs.
Coordinate with contractors, architects, consultants, vendors, and site teams.
Review workmanship and ensure execution matches approved drawings and specifications.
Identify design or execution issues on-site and provide practical solutions.
Coordinate measurements, quotations, material samples, mock-ups, and installations.
Track project timelines and proactively highlight delays or execution challenges.
Assist management in evaluating renovation and improvement requirements for existing properties.
Vendor & Contractor Management
Maintain a strong network of interior contractors, carpenters, fabricators, electricians, plumbers, painters, civil contractors, furniture vendors, material suppliers, and other skilled labour.
Source and evaluate vendors based on quality, pricing, reliability, and timelines.

Coordinate labour and vendors during project execution whenever required.
Build and maintain reliable vendor relationships for ongoing and future projects.
Be comfortable mobilizing the right resources quickly for urgent site requirements.
Procurement & Budget Management
Prepare BOQs, material specifications, and procurement requirements.
Assist in estimating project costs and maintaining budgets.
Recommend cost-effective alternatives without compromising design intent or quality.
Coordinate procurement, delivery, installation, and material movement.
Monitor material usage and minimize wastage.
Educational & Child-Friendly Spaces
For school and preschool projects, the designer will be expected to understand and incorporate:
Child-friendly and engaging environments
Ergonomics and age-appropriate furniture
