Job description-
Role Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and leadership-oriented Audit Manager to oversee a critical concurrent audit assignment. This role requires a rare blend of technical expertise specifically in the 100% verification of invoices and Purchase Orders (POs) and the ability to lead a team of junior auditors. You will be the primary bridge between our internal execution and senior-level client stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Oversight & Quality Control
• 100% Invoice Review: Perform a comprehensive, zero-error review of all invoices against Purchase Orders, contracts, and statutory requirements.
• Discrepancy Management: Identify and resolve leakages, over-billing, or non compliance in the procurement-to-pay cycle.
• Process Improvement: Evaluate the efficiency of the current PO process and suggest controls to mitigate risks.
2. Team Leadership & Mentorship
• Daily Management: Oversee a team of junior staff , managing their daily deliverables, leave schedules, and workflow.
• Mentorship: Actively train junior staff on audit methodologies, Excel techniques, and professional ethics.
• Motivation: Foster a high-energy, positive work environment to ensure the team meets tight deadlines without burnout.
3. Client Stakeholder Management
• Senior Communication: Act as the face of the firm for senior client management. Present findings, handle difficult conversations, and provide strategic recommendations.
• Reporting: Standardize and deliver high-quality audit reports that provide actionable insights rather than just data points.
4. Travel & Operations
• Pune Site Visits: Conduct mandatory monthly travel to Pune to oversee on-site operations and maintain a physical presence with the client team.
Required Candidate Profile:
Feature Requirement Education - CA, Inter-CA, or MBA (Finance) with significant audit experience.
Soft Skills - High emotional intelligence, leadership gravitas, and conflict resolution skills.
Technical Skills - Advanced MS Excel, familiarity with ERPs (SAP) and eye for detail.
Availability - Willingness to travel to Pune once a month and manage flexible team schedules.
