Role Description:
Role of Operations Associate is to support the smooth functioning of the Teacher Hiring and Training operations. The role will involve managing reports, coordinating training batches, tracking teacher onboarding and go-live status, resolving operational issues, and supporting the manager with day-to-day team operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teacher Recruitment Process
● Manage and maintain all hiring-related reports and trackers.
● Monitor and maintain teacher interview slot requirements and availability; coordinate with Teacher Mentors to open additional interview slots and identify additional interviewers for subjects as needed.
● Assist with system checks and consent letter signing for selected candidates.
● Support lead distribution as required.
2. Teacher Training and Onboarding Process
● Coordinate and manage training batches to ensure smooth execution.
● Provide LMS access to candidates immediately after consent letter signing, and provide other necessary system access and permissions wherever applicable.
● Track newly onboarded teachers, ensure they complete all required steps to go live successfully, and resolve day-to-day operational issues in support of Teacher Mentors.
● Keep communication channels open with candidates under training, responding to queries that mentors haven't addressed, and calling candidates who don't show up for training sessions.
● Follow up with candidates who receive early LMS access to keep them on track to complete LMS requirements within the given timeline.
● Keep the training tracker updated by coordinating with Training Mentors, following up directly if updates are delayed.
● Follow up with the Training team on pending mocks, mentor verdicts, and TL verdicts to ensure timely execution.
● Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve teacher onboarding, training, and go-live issues.
● Get involved in zone mapping, slot opening, and on demand mapping for newly live teachers.
● Assist the Manager in executing daily operational tasks and priorities for the team.
● Work closely with the Teacher Hiring and Training teams to ensure smooth coordination across the entire teacher lifecycle.
● Identify operational gaps and follow up with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
● Maintain accurate data and provide regular updates on hiring, training, and teacher go-live status.
Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Primary KPI:
Increase in Teacher Live Percentage The Operations Associate will be responsible for improving the percentage of onboarded teachers who successfully complete training and become live teachers within the expected timeline. Success will be measured through:
● Higher onboarding-to-live conversion.
● Faster resolution of operational issues.
● Timely completion of training and go-live requirements.
● Accurate maintenance of hiring and training data.
● Smooth coordination between Hiring, Training, Teacher Mentors, and Operations.
