Functional Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
International Card Services within AEBC (American Express Banking Corp.) India is focused on a multi-year roadmap to drive critical Growth, Efficiency and Governance initiatives. As part of AEBC ICS India Product Organization, this Analyst – Digital Product Management role will partner to implement these high-impact initiatives to deliver on our goals of improving operational efficiency and driving top and bottom-line impacts.
This role will drive ongoing management of ICS digital products, product roadmap & delivery thereof while continuously adapting to changing priorities across diverse stakeholder groups.
Experience in product management delivery across large growth and regulatory focused initiatives will be essential along with excellent relationship management abilities to drive and influence cross project teams & stake holder groups.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
As part of the larger project team, support rollout of new issuing product stack and capabilities, and ongoing management of the Product Roadmap, working across several critical “workstreams” to drive a consistent framework that minimizes customization.
Drive the execution of various product lifecycle processes including market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch.
Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by engineering teams, via collaboration with multiple stakeholders on Requirements Grooming, Design, Architecture and Prioritization across multiple scrum teams.
Collaborate with relevant business units and functions to identify & mitigate barriers to roadmap execution, including understanding critical cross-workstream and cross-platform dependencies.
Drive delivery by creating and maintaining a comprehensive view of the end-to-end program plan, including tracking risks & key program decisions.
Partner with Tech SMEs, other Product Owners & Business SMEs to ensure an aligned capability development strategy is being deployed.
Providing ongoing visibility of the roadmap, project plans, progress, dependencies, and risks to leadership and business partners
Being a part of AEBC India Business vertical, ensure that product stack facilitates achievement of key business objectives – both at a growth and legal & regulatory front.
Qualifications
Qualifications and experiences required:
Overall 5+ years of experience in areas of product development, product management, software development in a professional environment with proven track record for finding creative solutions.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security or any other relevant qualification.
Proven ability to work autonomously and adjust quickly to shifting priorities, multiple demands, ambiguity, and rapid change.
Hands-on experience across SDLC, requirement authoring (BRD/FSD), and SIT/UAT/E2E testing; exposure to issuer platforms would be an advantage.
Strong project management and analytical skills & rigor - ability to source and interpret data/facts in a meaningful way and present a compelling story to support decision making.
Strong communication skills and comfort delivering presentations at senior executive level.
A broad knowledge of and experience championing the use of best practice project and program management standards and processes.
