Role: Academic Advisor
Location: Nizamabad, Telangana, India
About The Role: The Academic Advisor role is a crucial part of LEAD’s Excellence Team. This role directly works with teachers and school leaders to ensure effective implementation of LEAD’s academic system in partner schools. Through training, coaching, monitoring, and collaboration, the Academic Advisor ensures student outcomes are met while helping to scale LEAD’s mission of delivering excellent education to every child.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Experience:
3+ years in academic support and teacher training, or 3–5 years of K-10 teaching experience (Teacher, Principal, Academic Coordinator), or 1–2 years of fellowship experience (e.g., Teach For India) plus 2–3 years of post-fellowship experience 2+ years of managing teacher teams
Experience in EdTech or SchoolTech academic operations/consulting roles
Must be open to traveling 15–20 days per month
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree (B.Ed or M.Ed preferred)
Technical & Functional Skills:
Strong training and facilitation experience in pedagogy and curriculum implementation
Skilled in data-driven discussions and performance tracking
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and collaborate across large, diverse teams
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Train and coach school leaders, academic coordinators, and teachers to implement the LEAD academic system
Monitor school execution through classroom observations and performance data
Generate insightful reports on student and teacher performance and suggest interventions
Build strong relationships with school stakeholders to ensure retention and satisfaction
Collaborate cross-functionally to solve implementation challenges in partner schools
Feed field insights back into internal teams to enhance academic products and systems
Drive adoption and consistent execution of LEAD’s academic methodology
