Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurgaon for a Senior Executive / Deputy Manager – Design. The role involves developing and refining visual concepts and design layouts for cinema interiors, signage, branding elements, and promotional materials in line with PVR’s brand identity. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as operations, projects, marketing, and vendors to ensure design consistency, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to timelines. Daily responsibilities include preparing design briefs, reviewing drawings, coordinating with external agencies, and supporting execution on-site to maintain quality and brand standards. The role also includes monitoring latest design trends and materials to continuously improve customer experience and operational efficiency across multiplex properties.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in architectural or interior design, including concept development, space planning, and creation of detailed drawings and layouts.
Proficiency in industry-standard design and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite or similar) and comfort working with digital design workflows.
Strong project coordination skills, with experience managing multiple design assignments, working with vendors, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Ability to translate brand guidelines into cohesive visual and spatial designs that enhance customer experience and support business objectives.
Attention to detail with a focus on quality, materials, lighting, and finishes appropriate for high-traffic entertainment environments.
Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Relevant professional experience in retail, hospitality, entertainment, or commercial interior design; multiplex or cinema design experience is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Design, or a closely related field.
Ability to work on-site in Gurgaon and visit cinema properties as needed, with flexibility to meet project timelines.
