Professional, Quality Assurance Engineering
Role Summary
Testing Professional will be responsible for leading testing activities for the enterprise Portal platform, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, secure, and reliable functionality supporting patch scheduling, compliance reporting, workflow automation, risk management, approvals, and operational governance. The role requires close collaboration with development, operations, cybersecurity, patching teams, and business stakeholders to validate new features, enhancements, integrations, and automation capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-end testing efforts for Portal releases and enhancements.
Define and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
Validate portal functionality including:
Patch scheduling and rescheduling workflows
Cluster concurrent patching capabilities
Risk approval and exception management
Compliance dashboards and reporting
Notification and approval workflows
ServiceNow and infrastructure integrations
User access and role-based permissions
AI tool integration
Develop and maintain automated test suites for regression and integration testing.
Perform functional, integration, system, regression, user acceptance, and performance testing.
Validate APIs and backend services supporting portal functionality.
Track defects through resolution and coordinate closely with development teams.
Participate in requirements reviews and ensure adequate test coverage for new features.
Lead release validation and production readiness testing.
Establish quality metrics, dashboard reporting, and release readiness criteria.
Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency through automation and process improvements.
Mentor QA engineers and contribute to testing best practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of software testing experience.
Strong experience in web application testing and enterprise workflow platforms.
Hands-on experience with Agile and DevOps delivery methodologies.
Experience with test management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or ServiceNow.
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and quality assurance best practices.
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
Experience in test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
