Role Description The Branch Head is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Jhansi, responsible for managing branch operations, achieving sales and business targets, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. This role includes leading and mentoring the branch team, driving acquisition of new customers, and strengthening relationships with existing policyholders and distribution partners. The Branch Head oversees compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, monitors performance metrics, and implements strategies to improve productivity, customer satisfaction, and persistency. Daily activities also involve coordinating local marketing initiatives, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with regional and corporate teams to align branch goals with overall organizational objectives.
Qualifications
Strong leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to build, motivate, and develop a high-performing branch team.
Proven experience in sales, business development, and achieving financial targets, preferably within life insurance or financial services.
Sound understanding of insurance products, distribution channels, and regulatory frameworks relevant to the Indian market.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills for working with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities, including comfort with performance metrics, reporting, and data-driven decision making.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage branch operations effectively.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or professional certification in insurance/finance is an advantage.
Prior experience in branch management or team leadership roles in insurance, banking, or related financial sectors is highly desirable.
