Position: Scientific Coding Expert - Material science - Task Based
Type: Short-term contract
Compensation: $30 per hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
Role Responsibilities
Write scientific problem specifications with logically connected sub-problems.
Implement verified golden solutions in Python with unit test coverage.
Design discriminative test cases for model output differentiation.
Run QC validation checks on the Turing Central Task Platform.
Iterate on tasks based on QC feedback to meet evaluation criteria.
Participate in sync calls for reviews and feedback sessions.
Requirements
Master's or PhD in Material science or related field.
Strong Python programming skills with experience in scientific computing.
Ability to write rigorous scientific problems with clear constraints.
Attention to detail in meeting strict rubrics for task quality.
Experience in AI data annotation, research, or scientific writing.
Familiarity with libraries like NumPy, SciPy, or domain-specific tools.
