Working with a US-based, VC-funded startup - small team, real product, this person owns the AI-facing side of the stack end to end.
Role :
We're hiring one person to own the AI-facing side of the product end to end, not a team to manage, a builder who can take a feature from idea to shipped. This is a hands-on role: you'll be writing code, integrating AI tooling, and making product-level calls, not just executing a spec.
Design and ship AI-powered features across the product
Own the integration layer between the app and LLM/ML tooling
Work directly with the founder on what gets built and why
Must-haves
Strong with React/Node and Python; comfortable working across the full stack
AI/ML experience - Has actually integrated LLMs or ML models into a shipped product, not just experimented locally
[Experience range: 2–5 years, or equivalent proven work, we care about what you've built, not your title history
Can own ambiguity- this role has more "figure it out" than "here's your ticket"
Nice to have
Experience at an early-stage startup or as a solo builder
