Job Title: Developer - Platform/Product Designation: Process Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Developer - Platform/Product to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Tandem Cobol and will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust platform solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of software development processes and a commitment to delivering high-quality products that meet our clients' needs.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement software solutions using Tandem Cobol.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Maintain and enhance existing applications, ensuring they meet current business needs.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Document development processes, code changes, and application functionalities.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve development practices.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers and other team members.
Mandatory Skills
Strong knowledge and experience in Tandem Cobol programming.
Proficiency in software development methodologies and best practices.
Experience with database management and SQL.
Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with other programming languages such as Java or C#.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of cloud computing and platform integration.
Understanding of DevOps practices and tools.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant certifications in software development or project management are a plus.
