Role Description
We are looking for an Android Software Engineer for a full-time, on-site opportunity based in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India.
The role is suitable for fresh graduates and early-career technology professionals interested in working across Android Development, Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Mobile Applications, APIs, Firebase, Databases, and Software Engineering.
The Android Software Engineer will work closely with software, IT, data, operations, finance, production, supply chain, sales, and other business teams to design, develop, test, maintain, and improve Android applications and mobile-based digital solutions.
Qualifications
B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA / M.Sc. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, or a related discipline.
Freshers and experienced candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Candidates with 0–5 years of experience in Android development, mobile development, software engineering, application development, Kotlin, Java, or related technology roles can apply.
Candidates currently working as Android Software Engineer, Android Developer, Mobile Developer, Mobile Software Engineer, Kotlin Developer, Java Developer, Application Developer, Software Engineer, or Associate Software Engineer are encouraged to apply.
Candidates from IT services, SaaS, product companies, technology, consulting, e-commerce, fintech, telecom, manufacturing, logistics, or other industries are welcome.
Basic to good knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java.
Understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, Activities, Fragments, lifecycle, intents, and mobile-development fundamentals.
Familiarity with Jetpack Compose, XML layouts, Android Jetpack, ViewModel, LiveData, Room, or similar Android technologies will be beneficial.
Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, authentication, and backend integration.
Familiarity with Firebase, SQLite, Room Database, SharedPreferences, or other mobile data-storage solutions will be an advantage.
Exposure to Android architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVP, MVC, Clean Architecture, or similar approaches will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
Familiarity with Git, GitHub, version control, Gradle, testing, and application-release workflows will be an advantage.
Exposure to Firebase Cloud Messaging, push notifications, location services, camera APIs, or other Android device features will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
Exposure to AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, CI/CD, or mobile DevOps tools will be an advantage but is not mandatory.
Good analytical, logical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication, documentation, and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work effectively with software, design, and business teams.
Willingness to work in an on-site environment.
Internship, Android app project, GitHub project, Play Store application, hackathon, freelance work, startup project, personal app, or academic project will be considered but is not mandatory.
Strong willingness to learn new Android technologies, frameworks, and mobile-development practices.
