Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Delhi, India, focused on talking heads and podcast-style content. The Video Editor will handle end-to-end post-production for podcasts, interviews, and personal branding videos, including cutting long-form footage into engaging episodes and short-form clips for social media. Responsibilities include syncing audio and video, color correction, sound balancing, adding graphics and captions, and creating thumbnails and hooks that align with each client’s narrative. The role involves collaborating closely with producers, strategists, and writers to ensure visual consistency across platforms, meeting tight deadlines, and continuously iterating based on performance data and feedback.
Qualifications
Strong video editing skills for talking heads, interviews, and podcast formats using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Experience in motion graphics, subtitles/captioning, and basic animation for social clips, reels, and YouTube content.
Knowledge of audio editing and mixing, including noise reduction, leveling, and enhancing speech clarity for podcast production.
Understanding of social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok) and best practices for short-form, vertical, and long-form video content.
Ability to interpret brand guidelines, follow creative briefs, and maintain consistent visual and narrative style across episodes.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Comfort working on-site in Delhi and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as content strategists, writers, and producers.
Relevant experience in personal branding, podcast production, or creator-focused content; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating prior work is required.
Preferred: Diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communication, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
