TCS is hiring for Postgress DB Developer
Desired Experience Range: 6 to 10 Years
Job Location: Bengaluru
Job Requirements*
7+ years of hands-on experience in PostgreSQL Database Development.
Strong expertise in PostgreSQL, SQL, and PL/pgSQL programming.
Experience in creating and maintaining Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, and Materialized Views.
Expertise in query optimization, performance tuning, and execution plan analysis using EXPLAIN ANALYZE.
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture, MVCC, WAL, Vacuum, and Autovacuum.
Experience with indexing strategies, partitioning, normalization, and database design.
Knowledge of Backup & Recovery, Replication, High Availability, and Disaster Recovery.
Experience working with JSON/JSONB data types and advanced PostgreSQL features.
Familiarity with Git, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and CI/CD practices.
Exposure to cloud-hosted PostgreSQL databases is preferred.
Key Responsibilities*
Develop, maintain, and optimize PostgreSQL database solutions.
Design and implement complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
Monitor and tune database performance for large-scale applications
