Roles & Responsibilities:
Facilitate acquisition of compliance certificates, licenses and registrations as may be required for the operations of business;
Audit and implement compliance policies;
Support legal and business stakeholders on a variety of compliance issues and transactions, including, potential conflicts of interest, high-risk payments, appropriate segregation of duties, and audit and report compliance with the statutory compliance matters;
Organize and deliver compliance training and communications in integrity and compliance culture;
Be a key contributor to developing and implementing new compliance policies;
Strong interfacing with internal auditors to address significant matters.
Tracking and monitoring compliance for various projects and assignments
Tracking notices and preparing responses
Travel for work and liaison with regulatory authorities as and when required
Filings and record keeping activities
Preparing periodical MIS compliance reports for management
Proactive and prompt response on assignments.
Desired Skills:
Proven work experience post LLB in compliance function, including audit, risk assessment, and mitigation;
Suitable maturity, judgment, and expertise when addressing compliance-related issues and dealing with both internal and external clients;
Multi tasking and willingness to work in fast faced work environment
Self motivated and attention to details
Ability to work across diverse and cross-functional teams;
Well conversant with applicable laws with special emphasis on understanding food laws, food industry laws, legal metrology and any such laws relevant to the operations including logistics, and e-commerce related laws and compliance, internet and technology-related laws, and laws regarding software as a service.
Professional Qualifications: A bachelor of Laws is a must; added diplomas in compliance-related courses would be an added bonus.
