Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (West Southeast Asia)
Overview
The Manager, FP&A (West South East Asia) position is responsible for supporting the West South East Asia division, spanning 5 countries, and plays a key role in:
• Managing and executing financial planning, forecasting and reporting requirements through consolidation of analyst, finance business partner and business team inputs.
• Identifying opportunities to automate and optimise financial processes, data management and reporting to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Enhancing financial reporting and analytics to support strategic business decision-making.
This position reports to the Division Finance Officer with the key objective of supporting execution of the corporate strategy through strong P&L governance and strategic insights. The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration across both finance and business teams and provides exposure across a complex multi-country business environment.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in finance, technology, and process improvement, with experience supporting reporting, planning and automation initiatives.
Role
• Manage division financial close and forecast processes through analysis of variances against budget, forecasts, prior year actuals, key business drivers and initiatives. Review and provide thoughtful, business-driven commentary, with timely communication of risks and opportunities.
• Manage, develop and enhance standardised financial reporting packages and business metrics/KPIs that support decision-making and business performance monitoring.
• Support strategic planning sessions and development of presentations and analysis for business reviews, as well as ad hoc presentations for senior leadership.
• Partner with finance business partners to ensure alignment throughout budget and forecasting cycles. This includes development and tracking of priorities, execution plans and revenue targets to ensure alignment with cross-functional partners.
• Support financial process improvements through the development and maintenance of financial tools, reporting solutions and analytical models, including training and support for users. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and more efficient ways of working.
• Demonstrate a high level of engagement with regional and global functions to influence cross-functional initiatives and ensure alignment with regional and global priorities.
All About You
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics and/or a related discipline, with demonstrated experience in FP&A, financial systems or similar roles preferred.
• Technical skills in Excel, VBA and data processing software (e.g. Alteryx), with working knowledge of financial systems and applications (e.g. Hyperion, Oracle).
• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau and Power BI preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse complex data, identify trends and translate findings into meaningful business insights.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
• Self-motivated individual with an interest in understanding the latest developments in the payments sector.
• Results-oriented and performance-driven with a focus on excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across finance, business and cross-functional teams.
