Country Real Estate Manager – Thailand

Real Estate function’s objective is to effectively support ABB’s business activities by securing the most efficient and profitable use of ABB’s real estate facilities/assets. This requires local, professional real estate expertise, to ensure optimum results across all Business Areas and Divisions. As Real Estate Manager you will work within a collaborative environment in the head office in Bangkok, Thailand, reporting directly to the Country Holding Officer and functionally to the Electrification Global Real Estate Manager.
Your responsibilities
Lead the implementation of ABB Thailand's real estate and workplace strategies to meet business needs.
Manage real estate operations, including lease administration, occupancy planning, and facility management activities.
Lead and coordinate office, warehouse, and facility improvement, relocation, and renovation projects.
Maintain accurate records and reporting of ABB's real estate portfolio and occupancy costs.
Monitor budgets, costs, and financial performance of facilities and real estate activities.
Drive space optimization, energy efficiency, and sustainability initiatives across sites.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, service providers, landlords, and local authorities to ensure efficient operations.
Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and HSE requirements.
Qualifications for the role
Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Engineering, Business Administration, Facilities Management, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in corporate real estate, facilities management, property management, or construction.
Knowledge of commercial/industrial real estate and facility operations.
Experience managing facility or workplace-related projects and budgets.
Hands-on and proactive, with strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills across operational, senior leadership, and regional/global environments.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across functions.
Knowledge of building systems and workplace standards is an advantage.
Good command of English and Thai.
