Role Description
Role is a hands-on Lead Test Manager responsible for driving the overall Automation Testing, quality strategy, test governance and delivery across Asset Management, Wealth Management, Regulatory and Digital Transformation programmes.
The candidate will lead end-to-end testing across complex multi-vendor environments, ensuring successful delivery of SIT, UAT, E2E and Production Validation activities. The role requires close collaboration with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, Developers and external vendors to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC.
In addition to programme leadership, the successful candidate is expected to remain hands-on by contributing to automation strategy, API validation, test design reviews, defect investigation and quality improvement initiatives.

Your key responsibilities
Define and own Test Strategy, Test Governance, Test Planning, Quality Gates and Release Sign-off across multiple programmes and workstreams.
Define Automation testing and implement in projects.
Lead end-to-end delivery of SIT, UAT, E2E, Regression and Production Validation testing across internal and vendor teams.
Drive quality engineering practices including automation, API, mobile and integration testing to improve quality, coverage and delivery efficiency.
Manage testing dependencies including environments, test data, vendor coordination, defect triage, risk management and release readiness activities.
Provide hands-on support for requirement analysis, test design reviews, API validation, data verification and defect root-cause analysis.
Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Development, DevOps and Operations teams to ensure quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Lead, mentor and develop QA and Automation Engineers while driving continuous improvement, quality metrics and delivery transparency.
Ensure compliance with SDLC standards, audit requirements and organisational quality processes.
Your skills and experience
12+ years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Engineering or Test Management, including leadership of enterprise-scale programmes.
Automation testing tools
Strong expertise in Test Strategy, Test Planning, Risk Management, Defect Management, Quality Governance and Release Management.
Hands-on experience in API, Integration, Data, Mobile and Automation Testing using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Appium, Postman or Rest Assured.
Strong technical knowledge of Java or Python, SQL, REST APIs, Microservices, JSON/XML and modern integration architectures.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Agile delivery methodologies and cloud-based platforms.
Proven experience managing distributed teams, vendors and large-scale end-to-end testing programmes.
Strong stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
Experience in Asset Management, Wealth Management, Financial Services domains is highly desirable.
