Software Tester

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Tester who can thoroughly test application flows and
ensure all features work as expected. You'll test complex workflows. Identify edge cases before users hit
them, and primary responsibility will be to validate end-to-end functionality, perform regression,
identify issues, and ensure a smooth user experience across web and mobile platforms. You will work
closely with developers and the Product team.
Key Responsibilities
• Test complete user flows across web and mobile applications
• Validate new features and ensure they meet functional requirements
• Identify bugs, edge cases, and unexpected behaviors
• Design test cases that cover happy paths, edge cases, and boundary conditions across multiple
modules.
• Document and report all issues clearly in Zoho Sprint with exact steps to reproduce, actual vs.
expected behavior, and screenshots/logs where needed
• Clearly document and report issues with steps to reproduce
• Perform regression testing on Sandbox environment before releases
• Classify bug recurrence patterns (R0 = new, R1 = recurrence from prior sprint, R2 = same bug
fixed before) to track quality trends
• Collaborate closely with developers to clarify issues and verify fixes
• Think from a user perspective and ensure a smooth experience
Required Skills
• Experience in manual testing / functional testing and automation
• Strong understanding of how web and mobile apps architecture- how user inputs, APIs,
databases, and UI states interact
• Ability to test complete workflows (not just individual features)
• Good attention to detail and observation skills
• Clear, precise bug reporting. You should write steps to reproduce that a developer can follow
without guessing
• Familiarity with test case design, test data preparation, and basic API validation
Nice to Have
• Experience testing web applications and mobile applications
• Familiarity with Zoho Sprint, JIRA or similar
• Basic knowledge of browser developer tools for debugging network requests and console errors
• Exposure to test automation frameworks (Python/Selenium), though manual test design is the
priority (Good to Have)
