Job Summary: A listed real estate and development company is looking to hire an experienced Real Estate Lawyer to manage the legal aspects of real estate transactions, provide legal opinions on property-related issues, and handle various property matters in Maharashtra. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Maharashtra land laws and RERA regulations, along with strong legal drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills.

The company has successfully delivered projects that have earned a customer base of 15,000+ and more than 300 projects.
Location: Andheri East, Mumbai
Designation: Deputy Manager - Legal
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review and negotiate property-related agreements such as Agreements for Sale, Development Agreements, Joint Development Agreements, Sale Deeds, Conveyance Deeds, etc.
Draft, review and negotiate contracts/agreements related to the support functions of the Company.
Conduct title due diligence, revenue record scrutiny, encumbrance checks and search reports.
Ensure compliance with Maharashtra-specific real estate laws, including MLRC, RERA, MOFA and other applicable legislations.
Handle RERA registrations, updates and compliance filings.
Identify legal risks in transactions and propose mitigation strategies.
Provide legal opinions on property-related issues.
Key Requirements:
Strong knowledge of Maharashtra-specific property laws.
Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
Prior experience in RERA Compliance and Registration is preferred.
Education: LL.B. / LL.M. from a recognized university.
Experience: 6+ years. (hands-on real estate legal experience, preferably in Maharashtra.)
Working Days: Monday-Saturday
