Our platform brings last-minute stay options together in one place, making it easier for travelers to discover and book nearby accommodations when plans come together at short notice.
We are a learning-focused, early-stage startup, where interns get the opportunity to work on real products, real features, APIs, databases, and production-level challenges while learning directly through hands-on development.
About the Role
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer Intern who is eager to learn, build, experiment, and grow with our technology team.
You will work across both the frontend and backend of the LMD platform and contribute to real product development under the guidance of senior team members.
What You Will Work On
- Develop and improve frontend features using Next.js
- Build and maintain backend functionality using Node.js
- Work with MongoDB for data storage and management
- Integrate and work with REST APIs
- Develop features related to search, hotels, bookings, users, and partner services
- Fix bugs and troubleshoot application issues
- Improve application performance and usability
- Work with product and design teams to convert requirements into functional features
- Participate in code reviews and team discussions
- Follow Git/GitHub workflows for version control
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code
- Learn and contribute to a real-world marketplace product
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Familiarity with Next.js / React
- Basic understanding of Node.js
- Basic knowledge of MongoDB
- Understanding of REST APIs and API integration
- Basic understanding of databases and CRUD operations
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills
- Willingness to learn new technologies and take ownership of assigned tasks
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field is preferred
Good to Have
- Previous personal, academic, or internship projects
- Experience with authentication, payment APIs, or third-party APIs
- Understanding of deployment and cloud platforms
- Familiarity with TypeScript
- Interest in travel, hospitality, marketplaces, or consumer technology
