Job Overview
We are looking for a strong development-oriented Okta/IAM professional with hands-on experience in designing, developing, configuring, integrating, testing, and supporting IAM solutions across the complete SDLC.
Responsibilities & Technical Expertise
Design, develop, configure, and implement Okta-based IAM solutions
Work extensively with OIE, UD, OLM, SSO, MFA, and API Access Management
Configure authentication/sign-on policies, MFA, groups, group rules, profile mappings, and application integrations
Implement SSO integrations for SaaS, enterprise, and custom applications using SAML/OIDC
Implement user provisioning/deprovisioning, attribute mapping, JML processes, and JIT provisioning
Integrate Okta with Active Directory, LDAP, HR systems, SaaS, and custom applications
Configure authorization servers, scopes, claims, access policies, and OAuth/OIDC flows
Develop and consume Okta REST APIs for user, group, application, and identity lifecycle operations
Troubleshoot authentication, federation, provisioning, directory synchronization, and application-access issues
Work with IAM concepts including Authentication, Authorization, Federation, Provisioning, RBAC, and Directory Services
Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support
Collaborate with application, security, infrastructure, and engineering teams
Participate in client meetings, technical workshops, architecture discussions, and code reviews

Okta API Access Management
SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0 & OIDC
Okta REST APIs & REST API integrations
Java and/or JavaScript – Mandatory
REST APIs, JSON & Web Services
Strong SDLC & development experience
Preferred Skills
Okta Workflows, Event Hooks & Inline Hooks
Okta Access Gateway
SCIM & custom integrations
